That's great advice and I agree (if you noticed, in my OP I did say "as close to" as I don't expect it to all be the same for sure). Thank you so much for ANY suggestions/input!!! And Happy Holidays to you all! Is there any way I could configure my machine to have an incoming or outgoing Skype call be a “trigger” that then will launch (and start) one of the apps that does record Skype calls?Īnyone know if that’s do-able? And if so- any coaching how to choose the best app for that purpose? If I have to I’d even be willing to hire a programmer to do this kind of thing (if I am not able to learn it)!Īnyway- if anyone has any ideas of how to accomplish this, or even point me point me in the right direction to figure this out- it would be GREATLY appreciated!!Īlso- please let me know if this topic should be in a different category (or even a different Forum). Like can I use something like Alfred’s Powerpack: Alfred Powerpack - Take Control of Your Mac and macOS that can run run Shell and Terminal Commands, and has the ability to create workflows with those (which is all over my head, but I’d learn it if this would work) …. So- that’s the functionality I need- to record both incoming and outgoing calls via Skype automatically (without me having to do anything each call).Īnyone know of any such software/app available for the Mac?Īnd honestly- I’m not a huge techie… but I have run across a couple of apps that will record my calls if I initiate them manually… so I’m wondering if there’s any way to automate the recording part myself. It worked perfectly/seamlessly and I was so bummed to find out they don’t have a version for the Mac. On my PC I was using this software: - MP3 Skype recorder. My work requires me to have my Skype calls (not videos) recorded AUTOMATICALLY (for both incoming and outgoing). I have figured out most of what I need to be able to have a similar experience on my MBP as I did on my Windows machine- but there’s one piece of software that I relied on every single day that I can’t yet find out how to replace- hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I just got the new MBP- it's the very last Apple device I didn't own yet, lol. I am a brand new Mac user (from 25+ years on Windows).
